Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Papa Bear! He and Honey Bea came from a home together along with their litter of puppies. Their human was pregnant and ordered to be on bed rest, while her husband resided in jail so no one was able to care for the dogs. The were all dumped at the shelter. Papa Bear is about 1 1/2 years old and has tested positive for heartworms. He will begin his treatment around the first week of June and will be available for adoption once he is able to travel. He is a sweet boy... he gives hugs and kisses. He LOVES Honey Bea and would like to find a home where they can go together, but he will also be fine without her. ( Discount given on bonded pairs). Papa Bear gets along fine with dogs and cats. If you are interested in applying for Papa Bear (and/or Honey Bea), please let us know. If you can not adopt but would like to donate towards Papa Bear's heartworm treatment, you may paypal your tax deductible donation to forrescuetn@gmail.com. Check out our video!
