Update 5/18/11: Meet Simmons!
Simmons is a 4 year old, 25 lb. Puggle that is searching for his 'forever home'. Simmons’ present owner works long hours. Since Simmons loves to be with people, he would love for his new family to spend a lot of time with him. Please meet Simmons and make him a part of your family.
Simmons is a very playful little guy that loves everyone (men, women and children). He loves to play with other dogs too, no matter what size. He is a smart cookie too. He is fully housetrained.
Simmons' has one known medical issue. He has had approx. 3-4 seizures over the last year. They lasted about 10-15 seconds. It takes about 5 minutes and he is back to normal. Simmons was checked out and they could not find anything wrong. The vet put him on Phenobarbital, 2 pills a day to play it safe. The vet said to play it by ear. He might not ever have another seizure. You never know. The only side effect seems to be he drinks more water than he usually does.

Info. about Sadie Mae Foundation's adoption process
Please note that we
do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We try to make our adoption process as
easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals. We don't want them to go through this again. Visit
www.sadiemaefoundation.org to learn about the adoption process in detail.
