For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Bio: He may be the sweetest and most calm pup ever. But boy does he like to run around at playtime, thus the name...Charger! He also likes just chillin' out with the family, laying at your feet or in his crate for some rest time. Puppies need both.
He's already pretty good walking on a leash and enjoys people's company a LOT. He is pretty confident but at the same time deferential to alpha dogs. He loves dogs, loves people, and is just really laid back. Likes to play with other dogs, but he would definitely be a lapdog if you'd let him be, great snuggler. He is just the sweetest thing! Doing great with the crate training and he has had no accidents so far....all pups need a strict potty schedule but sounds like Charger has the inside scoop on house training...good boy Charger!!
He is a good and healthy weight and is full of energy so he would love long walks and when old enough to go on runs with his person. His ears appear like they are on their way UP ; ) and he loves tummy rubs and playing with anyone who is willing. He is a great overall dog-a very nice family addition.
At first he definitely had no clue what a house was. He was afraid of the tile floors, and he really didn't like the gravel driveway, either. He is overcoming all that very quickly with lots of different experiences and exploring time. He is happiest so far in the grass but is comfy too anywhere with his people.
