Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke was a mess when we first agreed to take him on an owner-surrender. He had no structure, no training, no guidance as to how he was supposed to act and he was so afraid of everything, that he broke my heart. Duke is simply not the same dog now! He plays beautifully with many different personalities and ages, still has his nervous moments around new people but they are short lived with a fun walk and treats, he's kind to cats (but will chase those who aren't used to dogs and try to run), enjoys the vehicle and rarely barks. We're not quite sure what Duke is, but he only weighs 40 lbs. or so. I do know he needs a good leader to help give him the confidence he needs to feel secure. He's not for the first time dog owner, and I really believe he should go with another dog, one he can follow and learn from. ***UPDATE*** duke is currently in his 10 day foster to adopt trial!
