Pressley is a huge boy, 140+ pounds of big dopey heart. He is about 6 years old and is in good health. He has great hearing, good eyesight, and is an active and playful dog.
Pressley has been through extensive training with our valued dog obedience trainer and we are proud to say that this boy knows his stuff. We are so proud of this boy for the work that he has done. Pressley is housetrained, leash trained, doggy door trained and knows Sit, Come, Stay, Down, Wait, Load Up (to get into cars), go to bed, and "give me some sugar" (for kisses). Pressley is up to date on his shots, has been neutered and is ready to go. Pressley loves camping and will walk through water with you, hike mountains and trot alongside you as you jog trails.
He is fantastic with my 9 year old son but due to his size would be best place in a house with kids over the age of 10. He gets along great with other dogs, ignores cats/squirrels/birds. He loves to play tug with you and enjoys vigorous snuggling. He's safe off-leash and will come when called.
This dog is not for the faint of heart. Applications from people with Great Dane or large dog experience only please. You must have a fenced in yard, or enough acreage that he can run unhampered. This dog is not for first time adopters, or people who would like to "try out" having a massive dog. No households with kids younger than 7 years of age because when this boy wags his tail, it REALLY wags. He would really love a nice quiet home with just a couple of family members, who do not entertain guests very often.
