Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi everyone! I’m Quincy! I’m about 3 or 4 years old and very sweet. I’ve had a rough start in life and will need an extra special home. I’m pretty shy when I meet new people, so my new family will have to understand that I will need some time to come out of my shell. I didn’t know any nice humans before I came to SPS, so I’m still kind of insecure. Because of that, I’ll need to go to a home with at least one other dog. I get along great with other dogs, they help build my confidence, and show me how to have fun. My canine foster siblings here in Wisconsin are showing me lots of cool doggy things to do. I will also need a fenced yard to run and play in – hopefully a big one! I like riding in the car, going for walks, and playing in the yard. Like many shar pei, I have very tiny ear canals. I was neglected for a long time, and came to SPS with an ear infection. It’s cleared up now, but my new family has to be prepared to clean my ears on a regular basis, and even with proper care I’ll probably always be prone to ear infections. I know I might be a little extra work, but trust me - I’m SO worth it! Does it sound like you’re the family for me? If so, please fill out an adoption application and ask for me, Quincy!
