Laila is charming and goofy all in one. She is a full grown dog but has the manners and exuberance of a 3 month old puppy. One minute she is rocketing past while stealing the pizza of your plate the next she is playfully chasing the butterflies. She is really smart and learning manners but is so full joy that she has to let the world know that she loves living but racing around. She loves both me and my husband but prefers him the best. Laila loves to be petted and rubbed, she closes her eyes and gets so still. Its so charming and sweet to see her just melt into our arms. Laila is a beautiful, energetic, very sweet, inquisitive girl. She will require a home in which her parents will be patient and consistent. She knows "no Laila" and she backs away when scolded. She plays with other dogs - she loves tug of war and chase. Laila leaps, jumps and bounces her way around the house and yard! She is happy and its awesome to watch! In my home Laila is allowed on the furniture however she doesn't sleep in our bed. She is crate trained and house trained. Walks will be a big deal for her. She will consider them a treat and the one on one time will benefit her immensely. Laila will gently lick my fingers and hands as she lies in my lap falling asleep. Her kisses gets softer and softer but if she hears a unusual noise - shes off like a shot! Don't rest your coffee cup on her! Laila is so smart and we enjoy watching her learn. She knows when she has done something right, she practically smiles as if to say..."I did good didn't I?" We have become very fond of her and know that with the right guidance she will be an excellent companion. I have not exposed her to kids but only because the opportunity hasn't come up. She is a year old and sweet so I believe that she would do very well with children if she was exposed soon and consistently. She will need help learning to tone down her enthusiasm but that will also come with maturity.
