Meet Gizmo!
This sweet and handsome little boy was found as a stray and dumped at a kill shelter in rough shape. Matted, smelly and very dirty, we got him out and cleaned him up. He has a very sweet disposition, not a mean bone in his little body. Gizmo is approximately 4 to 5 years old, neutered, heartworm tested (negative) and up to date on all shots. He loves to be with people. He gets along well with other small dogs and cats and is clean in his crate. It would be best if he went to a home with a fenced in yard or a home where he would be walked several times a day. Invisible fences or dog runs are not allowed as well as tie outs. This is verified by us. We are not looking for a home that the humans of the house are gone for long hours.

Dogs are pack animals and really do best with another dog around while their pack leaders are at work or out of the home. We strongly suggest that folks have another dog for the new rescue to be a companion with. Senior or adult dogs make GREAT 2nd dogs. No chewing, usually potty trained and there is always an abundance of them. Have you considered adopting a senior? It's very rewarding and most senior small dogs live to be 13+ years old! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Please note: We do not adopt out young dogs to senior citizens but will be glad to take your application for a senior dog!
