My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Callie is a six year old black tri female who is spayed and up to date with her shots. She is heartworm negative and on prevention. Callie came to rescue from a local shelter after her owners surrendered her due to a child being allergic to her. She also came to the shelter with her coat fully shaved, it is slowly growing back now. Callie - Very good girl. Very sweet. She walks ok on the leash but needs a little correction. Will sit for a treat but no other commands. Great touch responses. No issues with teeth, pulling on ears, touching feet, torso or genital area. Very submissive. Very playful but would rather just be by you and hang out. She was very docile. No issues with eating no aggressions while eating and reaching for bowl or petting her. Loves treats and takes them very easy from your hand. Not too interested in toys. Scared of dominant dogs but did ok with kennel-to-kennel meets. No issues it appears with cats. She does have a bad left leg due to an old break injury that apparently was not set properly or something. Does not hinder her from anything. She is wonderful with children, other dogs and an easy going girl. Callie has attended many events with us and done great, she is a good ambassador for the breed. She loves everyone she meets. This is a great dog for anyone!
She would make a great pet for any family. Callie is located in Savannah GA please contact Kim Johnson for adoption information at savaussies@comcast.net
