Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Piglet is a very sweet boy who was rescued from a very
neglectful situation and given a chance to live the good life. I don’t
think that he was ever let out of a kennel. When he was first rescued, he
had a very bad case of mange. It was so bad that he was almost completely
bald. He was extremely malnourished and weak. He has gained 5 pounds in
his 5 weeks of foster care and his coat is almost completely grown in. He
will be a beautiful boy someday and is well on his way. He is currently 40
lbs and is approximately 11 months old. His growth was stunted at such an
early age that he will probably always be a smaller dog. He loves everyone
he has ever met, dogs and people alike. The first time I gave him a
rawhide, he didn’t really know what to do with it and looked to his foster
brother Spot for guidance. Now he is obsessed with rawhides!! He loves to
play with Spot, a 2yr old male pit bull. Piglet loves to play with toys and shares well with Spot.
He loves to fetch the ball and will bring it right back to me. Piglet
doesn’t mind receiving a bath, as he has to do weekly. He loves to poke
his head in the shower curtain when his foster mom is taking a shower.
Piglet’s ideal day: get up off the bed where he is currently allowed to
sleep with his foster mom and immediately start playing with his foster
brother. Outside to play several times a day. A walk to check out the
world. More playing with his foster brother. Eat breakfast and settle in
to a rawhide. More playing, a nap, more playing, more rawhide chews. Show
off his lay down skills for biscuits as often as possible. Play fetch and
skillfully remove the squeaker out of any toy. More rough and tumble play
with other dogs, then makeout. Another walk to see the world, then nap on
the couch with foster mom with his nose nuzzled into her armpit. More
playtime with other dogs and a final spaz freakout on the bed as he tries
to burrow in the blankets , rolling over and over, then suddenly out of
nowhere immediately snoring and fast asleep for the night. Rawhides,
rawhides, rawhides!!
