Raffey: Tossed Away and
Left Behind
This sweet, skinny boy was running the streets when a neighbor, who heard screeching brakes and saw the terrified dog just barely making it to the curb, intervened and rescued the grateful pup.
From the very start, Raffey has been nothing but happy to be rescued. There’s no doubt that he’s missing someone; he watches every car that goes by, hoping to see the person who left him behind. Even so, Raffey’s tail is always wagging—and wags even harder when someone offers him a tummy rub. This is a dog who simply wants to be loved.
In his foster home, Raffey is delighted to play with his foster dog-siblings. Snuggling with his foster dad on the couch is an added bonus!
Raffey is one of those dogs who makes the best of any situation. He’s a happy, loving boy who will fit easily into some lucky person’s family.
About our Loving Little Boy
• 1-2 year-old elkhound-mix; ~35 pounds (smaller than he looks in his photo); has all shots; will be neutered
• Working on his house-training and learning very quickly!
• Active, playful and extremely loving. Raffey would be fine as an only pet or would make a perfect companion for another dog. He’d be great with children too!
