Little "Ollie" is a sweet loving pup even though the people he was rescued from didn't give him that great of a start in life. He spent his puppyhood alone in a backyard without anyone to keep him company, but has adjusted amazingly well to living with other dogs in his foster home. The effects of the neglect he suffered were not just emotional though. Ollie also had a long road to recovery for a skin condition that went months without medical care. Now's he's back to his cute self, as seen in these photos.
He will benefit from training and lifelong socialization as an indoor member of the family where he will get plenty of snuggle time with his new pet parents. Eager to please and oh so smart, obedience classes will be a breeze with this boy. Like any young dog, he's playful and needs plenty of daily exercise, so if you're looking for an active four-legged friend -- NOT a couch potato -- then you've come to the right place!
Ollie is crate trained, loves the company of other dogs, and likes to chase kitties for fun but would never think of hurting them. Due to his lack of socialization at an early age, he'll do best in a home with older, dog-smart kids. He's also doing much better riding in the car and doesn't sick like he used to. He is neutered and current on all shots.
