Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a bubbly, fun-loving, redheaded ball of energy?? Well here she is – meet Kate! This outgoing lassie is constantly on the search for a good time, be it romping about with her canine buddies, chasing after a toy, or snuggling up for a cuddle in your lap.
Yes, this lighthearted live wire is the full package – super lively, really intelligent, and cute as the dickens, too! Kate came to us from a Utah shelter and we know nothing of her past, but it is clear we have a winner on our hands. Kate is really social and friendly. She loves humans and attention from anyone and everyone! She also loves other dogs – all the better if they will play with her! Kate is super playful with her fellow canines and is always instigating all kinds of games with her doggy foster brother. She’s also quite happy to play with people, enjoys a good game of fetch, and also gets a kick out of toys of all kinds. Is there anything Kate doesn’t love?? Not much! She even did well on her cat test – curious but wary - and we think she could live peaceably with a dog savvy cat. She’s not particularly herdy, although she is definitely a higher energy girl who will need a good chunk of vigorous exercise daily to be happy.
This liver and white girl is super cute, too, from her classic white blaze right down to her little docked tail – and she’s filled to the brim with brains and curiosity as well. Kate is an agreeable girl and very eager to learn. She’s already housetrained and cratetrained, and is working on her basic manners. At just about 1 ½ years old, Kate is definitely overflowing with enthusiasm, and will need an adopter committed to continuing with her basic manners education, in addition to setting boundaries and guidelines for acceptable behavior. Kate is going to be a pleasure to train and will surely be able to learn anything you want to teach her.
All in all Kate is a delightful girl who will no doubt be up for any adventure you can think of! She will thrive in a home that will engage her both physically and mentally, as well as shower her with love and attention. If you love a zesty, life-loving go-getter, Kate may be the one for you!
Kate is fully vetted and living in a loving foster home near Salt Lake City, UT.
