Wow what an amazing girl Sydney is!! This dynamic girl has so many wonderful qualities. She has captured all the volunteers hearts and is one of our absolute favorites!
She looks at you with her adorable eyes and your heart is immediately captured! I am reminded of that quote from the movie... "you had me at hello!" She sits down and gently leans into whatever part of your body she can touch. You are of course compelled to pet this brindle beauty. Which is rewarded with gentle kisses. You just can't resist her charms!
Sydney loves to run and she is one fast girl! A brindle blur bolts by her foster dad and runs circles around her much bigger canine foster brother. Toys are another great activity. Although Sydney is convinced the purposed of the Kong squeaky ball is to pull off all the fuzz off them!
Romping with other dogs and cuddly with them at the end of a great play session is a favorite thing of our active, social butterfly. She hasn't met a dog she doesn't like to play with and just like us humans, all dogs seem to be drawn to her!
Sydney is a super cuddly dog and adores human attention. Snuggling by your side while you read or watch TV brings great joy to our loving girl. She thanks you for the belly rubs with gentle kisses.
Not that Sydney is prone to vanity, but she does take umbrage with what she considers to be an understatement in the description of her personality. In her own words (she speaks and is fluent in three languages): “Just look at my photo gallery, many of the photos speak to my multi-dimensional personality.
• Photo #1—always on the ready, my body language says it all; ‘The lights are on and everybody’s home.’
• Photo #2—I’m interested in a long-term relationship, as you can see in my eyes that I exude love and respect.
• Photo #3—Am I great dancer or what? I could have been on “Is your dog a better dancer than a fifth grader?” but for my inclination to want to lead. What can I say—I’ve got the power!
• Photo #4—With all the above going for me I still have a coquettish side I like to show.
Sydney needs a home with another young, active dog(s) that likes to play and snuggle. Daily runs or long walks are necessary for our spry girl to burn off her energy.
