Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tipsy's previous owners kicked her out of their house and family after he had live a life with them chained in their backyard. There reason for doing so? They blamed her for "getting herself pregnant" by the neighborhood stray. She hadn't been the one who put her on the chain and hadn't spayed her, so how was that her fault? Her owners said that since the pups would be mixed breed they wouldn't be able to sell them.
We found Tipsy curled up on the sidewalk in front of her families house with the male dog that had "gotten her pregnant". She is very sweet but can be shy to new people, she mainly seems to fear men. We believe her previous owners most likely abused her in some way so now she fears men. She does warm up fast to them once she realizes they aren't going to hurt her.
She is a very calm and relaxed dog that loves to be with people she trusts. She loves to cuddle on the couches and be up on the bed sleeping. She also likes to play with the other dogs her foster mom has at the house.
Prior to coming to us, Tipsy had never walked on a leash before. Since that time she now looks forward to going on long walks with her foster mom.
Tipsy is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and was spayed on 4/18//2011
