My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Polly and I’m a 3-4 yr old brindle female. Don’t let my size fool ya, I’m a big 32lbs and I’ve got some curves. I’m currently being fostered with another bully girl and we play “who’s the boss applesauce” and she always wins. I don’t mind other doggies, I don’t know anything about cats or children since foster mommy doesn’t have any. My foster mom is constantly picking up after me because I have a tendency to take things with me to other rooms, like my bed and my dog bowl. In my previous life I wasn’t fed regularly and I got to be way too skinny and now I have developed a system to remind you to feed me. See I will bring you my bowl, no matter where you are or what you are doing. I like to watch tv, I love to cuddle on the couch and be pet, I’m crate trained and do enjoy spending time in my crate, catching naps throughout the day. I will sleep at your feet, or on them, just so I know you are around. I love to sit in your lap too. Hey, who says bullys’ aren’t lap dogs? I will follow you everywhere, foster mommy calls me her shadow. Also, foster mommy says I snore. Well of course I do! I’m a bully!

I was found in a dumpster, under weight with a boo-boo on my head. A great person rescued me and took me to the vet. I’m all fixed up (literally) and I am as good as new! I do have dry eye and as you can see, most of us around this place do. No big deal, I just take drops 2 times a day. I’m a really good girl. I love people when I know I can trust them, I will be your forever couch potato if you will adopt me!
