I know I know...the first words that come to your mind when you see my handsome mug is STUD MUFFIN...it's okay it's everyone's reaction and quite frankly I don't mind one bit. Hi everyone I'm Moose and one of HHBR's recent additions. I know my name is probably not the everyone's forte' but you know it fits me perfectly. I am one lug...g of a hound, but one of the sweetest laid back gentlemen you will ever meet. I made my journey into HHBR when my brother and I found our way out of our yard and off we took on a glorious run through the countryside. Those nice people at the local shelter came and picked us both up and recognized us before and called our previous owner and they said they no longer could care for us. The rest is history and now I'm living the life of an inside hound. I came into my foster home with 2 other male hounds, you can see them in my 2nd photo above, and we all get along great. Mom says I am just one happy boy. I am past that puppy stage and don't chew anything I'm not supposed to. And my favorite thing to do is root, root, root my blankets into the perfect nest and I'm content to nap for a while. Mom has been working with me on my crate training and I go in without a fuss but man oh man when Mom gets home I can really get a howling', honestly it's not that horrible any great hound should have a glorious howl and I'm just really darn excited to see Mom and I also know it's supper time =) We've also been working diligently on this whole house training bit and I've got it down. Rescue of course wants me to tell you that when I go to my new home I will just need a bit of patience while I adjust to my new surroundings and my new daily routine and of course some gentle guidance during the whole process. I am one smart boy so I have no doubt I will quickly adjust =) Because of my history of "running" rescue is kindly asking that I go to a home with a fenced in yard. Party poopers =) I am also UTD on all vaccinations, Heart Worm tested negative and on monthly preventative, de-flead, de-wormed, microchipped and altered. I really hope my forever home comes soon, I promise I'm totally worth it.
