My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You'll not find a more perfect Black Lab. This dog is the cudliest, calmest, mellowest dog you will ever met. He gets along with EVERYTHING, all people, all dogs, all cats. Of course he is so well mannered that he does not chew, not even rawhide. This is a real gentleman's dog. No barling, no whining, you can go to work the first day Keith comes to live with you, that's how cool this boy is! We know his complete history, which is also very unusual. He was orginally adopted from North Shore Animal League as a puppy, and his family surrendered him to NYC animal control because they were "moving" (you know that's a bunch of bull..as if there is a law that you can't take your dog when you move). They were told that their "perfect" dog would be killed if surrendered as the shelter was totally full...yet they idd it anyway. You know those people are going to get it from the big one upstairs the rest of their lives for that... thanks to the same big one upstairs, we had just adopted out a dog that day and could take in one dog....Keith was the save of that day. He is waiting for a deserving human to come around.
