Here's what the humans have to say about me:
2001 Chestnut Thoroughbred gelding. 16 hands. Star, stripe.
Guff is a well-schooled horse who enjoys working. He is very polite and curious. He likes being around people and loves to travel. No vices. He's an easy keeper. He was schooled to first level Dressage. He has a beautiful extended trot and wonderful transitions. He's also a great trail horse. He goes anywhere, and loves water. He would be a wonderful "teacher" for an amateur rider, can flatwork, show in equitation, lower level Dressage and trails. Guff needs to be pastured either with all geldings or all mares as he is very possessive of mares. He doesn't give his handlers any trouble, but he will be aggressive toward another gelding if a mare is in the same pasture.
Guff is being ridden regularly, usually 4-5 times a week. While he is a well-schooled horse, he is also a strong horse, and will need a confident, skilled & educated rider. This is a wonderful horse for the right person. You have to be the boss, and Guff needs to be in a program where he is ridden regularly. Guff does have an old injury to his digital extensor, so no jumping. That said, he's a beautiful mover, and can do training level to 2nd level Dressage.
Guff is located in Knoxville, TN
Placement fee is $500
