My story

Loki knows how to work his magic to get what he wants :) He’s a happy, easygoing guy and knows how to be super cute to win you over. He’s a sweet older guy who does things at his own pace. He wags his tail and nudges you with his nose, and in a moment, you’re under his spell. He tells you when it’s dinner time and when he needs to go outside.



Loki would do well in a family with teenage and older people or just adults. He is a little shy and reserved when meeting new people but as soon as he warms up he is a charmer. He does well on leash and in the car. He gets along well with other dogs, though he doesn’t play with them. He will sleep in a doggy bed or on the floor...he’s not needy, though he is happy when you come home. He isn’t in a home with cats but he would probably do well with them.



The coat on his body is very thin and patchy due to years of neglect prior to rescue. It may come back fuller with time. It also might look better with a trim a little shorter. We performed a dental cleaning and had to remove quite a few teeth...he has 6 healthy ones left!



He’s just a cute, low-key little guy looking for someone to appreciate a well-mannered dog.
