My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas was born in southern Indiana sometime at the end of January 2011. MBCR was contacted about several adorable puppies in a shelter and shortly thereafter they made the long journey into their foster homes. Our best guess is that they are Border Collie and perhaps some Australian Shepherd.


Dallas has been with us for 2 weeks now, and has really been a wonderful puppy. Dallas is a medium energy guy who would excel at any doggy sports. He has enough energy that he is going to need a job to do and will need training throughout his life.


Dallas has proved to be a fast learner! He can sit and lie down in my kitchen and we are working on generalizing those behaviors to other areas as well. He walks great on a leash and is confident wherever he goes. Currently he is sleeping through the night in his crate in our bedroom.


Dallas is a super playful little dude, and enjoys playing with lots of toys, he is also very food motivated. We are working on sitting for his dinner and that is going very well. He LOVES belly rubs and promptly flops over for everyone to rub his tummy. Dallas has been with me to work, to the pet store and to the dog parks. I have yet to see him apprehensive about anything. On Saturdays he has been to puppy play time, and he has learned how to go to a target plate, run through a pipe tunnel and walk along a board.

Dallas is being fostered in Wisconsin.
