My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Buck Wheat. I'm a young and energetic little guy who loves to dance and play...as you can see from my photos! I give wonderful hugs and enjoy face rubs. My bear hugs and smiling face have actually been proven to melt hearts! I'm still pretty young...around two years my friend as the shelter think but no one really knows because I was picked up all alone and couldn't remeber where I came from. I still need a little training but my friends have been working with me and I am doing great with basic commands. A family with older kids who have the energy to keep up with me would be perfect! I need to have a big fully fenced back yard with lots of room to run and play unless you live in the country! I would like that too! I do NOT like other male dogs so I MUST go to a home without any other male dogs. I like females ok most of the time as long as they aren't trying to be dominant over me! I have been cooped up at the shelter for almost a year now and although I love my friends who take good care of me, I'm just waiting for my forever home where I can stretch my legs and enjoy the life I was meant to live.
