Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes, she really does look like a baby Ibizian Hound. But in this crazy rescue world, I guess she is a German Shepherd Dog and something very small. Her coat is blond and short and silky. At six months she only weighs 26 lbs. OK, that is what she weighed when she came to us. After eating continuously she may have gained a few pounds, but she is small. Do we think she is going to grow into those ears? Who Knows?
She has been bounced from several homes and shelters, she being at no fault ! Miley is here to stay until we find the best home for her. Her original owner had to move unexpectedly and was not able to take the dog to the new location.
She still has a lot of puppy in her. She was not trained except to sit which she does on command. We have immediately started her on a training program!
Miley is very smart and seems to be learning quickly. She is crate trained, knows how to sit, and is quickly learning to walk on her leash at heel.
She loves to snooze on the couch with us, but also loves to run and catch the tennis ball, frisbee, etc. in our 1/2 acre dog yard. She is crate trained. And is quickly learning to walk at heel on the leash. She enjoys walking along the sidewalk to see the sights
.
She does not like being left alone, and does best with another dog in the yard with her, or in the house when ever her humans are away.
This is an amazing dog that will give someone a wonderful pet, a challenging run, and love undenied. Miley is a bit goofy, and a very fun loving little girl.

or 803-635-4252 and leave a message. The email is faster as we are a family run rescue. Please call or email and request a questionnaire and we will email you one. We ask that you complete this before you visit for the safety of our family and the animals in the rescue. The questionnaire does not obligate you or SAR to an adoption and we never share personal information provided to us.. We are located in Winnsboro, SC and have adopted from Florida to Maine whith appropriate reference checks, and when the adopting family was able to make transport arrangements.
Miley is scheduled to be spayed in April.
