My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Outdoorsperson wanted to give King the time of his life. This sweet sweet boy is less than 3 years old, may be as young as 16 months. King was owned by a man who did not appreciate him for the champion dog that he is. The dog was seized by animal control and turned over to us, so that we can find King a home he deserves. King was not physically abused, he was just ignored. He does not have the emotional baggage that some rescue dogs have, he's just full of love and waiting.
King is pure St. Bernard, White/Black and gold. The photos were taken of him when he first came into rescue, he was filthy and unwashed. King has now been groomed and is a stunning boy, just waiting for the right home. King has some leash manners, those are being worked on. He is house trained, doggy door trained, is up to date on his shots/worming/dental and has been neutered.
King enjoys other dogs, kids and people. He chases cats, and as you can imagine, no cat could stand up to him. He's about 150 pounds and well put together if not a bit thin.
King will need a home with a fenced yard, and someone devoted to him. He's a very friendly, and loving dog but needs daily exercise to keep him happy and healthy.
