Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
UPDATED BIO 05/01/2011: My name is June Bug - but you can call me Junie. I am 7 y/o and weigh 9.3# and am being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL.
So far, Foster Mom said that June Bug has not met a lap she didn't want to sit on. She still needs to have her dental, but we are waiting until we are positively sure her ringworm has completely cleared up. Junie has a date with the groomer on Sat May 7th - so be on the look-out for her glamour photos to be posted. Junie is what could be called an "Elegant Tomboy".....she loves to wrestle and bird-chase with the yorkie boys in her foster home. She is very curious about everything - she will jump or climb, if possible, just to see what is on the counter or on the other side of the gate. She thinks that if Foster Mom gates it off - then it must be something worth seeing on the other side! Foster Mom found Junie standing in the partially-filled bathtub, pushing the turtles around with her nose. She is just tooooo cute to believe - she will be a delightful companion in someone's home - could it be your's?
INITIAL BIO 03/21/2011: My name is June Bug. FM calls me Junie. I am a 7 year old 9.3 lb little lady who is being fostered in Boynton Beach, FL. I was rescued from a high kill shelter tonight. It appears nobody wanted me because I have a skin condition on my nose and around my mouth.
FM took me straight to the vet. "What is this scaly rash?" she asked the Dogtor. The Dogtor took one look until the special light and told her it was a rash called ringworm. "EW!" I thought... "WORMS?". Then the nice Dogtor explained to us both that ringworm is NOT a worm, but it is a skin infection caused by a fungus..... I dunno about you, but I'm still a little grossed out. The only good thing is that ringworm is completely curable. I will be back to my beautiful self in no time. Oh yeah, I'll take at least a month to heal. Also, even though my bio picture was taken right as I was pulled from the skeery shelter, remember what I look like with hair, because I am going to have to get a short buzz-cut so that the shampoos and medicine do their job. Most people don't adopt bald yorkies, but I promise my hair will grow back! :)
Thanks for reading about me. Licks and wags...... Well, maybe just wags for now. I won't be licking anyone for a while! xoxo - June Bug
