Update 3/20/11: Say hello to Duncan!



Duncan was just rescued, along with his two pup friends Dawson and Danika. Dawson and Danika are also posted on our site.



Duncan is approx. 16 weeks old and around 15lbs right now. He looks to be a Chocolate Lab. Retriever mix. Duncan is a typical playful puppy. He loves taunting the other dogs into playing with him. He would do great in a number of types of households. We know he would enjoy walks and basic obedience training.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.

Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.



We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
