My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I look like a lion with my “fur” cut – they had to shave me down because my fur was all matted. Then my name, Hippo! I don’t get no break here…and they even have a pink hoodie with a picture of a hippo on the back. How could anyone NOT notice me? This would be pretty hard, especially since I am also an absolute lover, immediately greeting people and ready to settle in someone’s lap or rubbing against them for some petting. Needless to say that I do not take “no” or “I’m busy” as an answer! If I am wearing my hoodie, you might even spot me doing the moonwalk. My rescuer found me as a stray and took good care of me, even getting me “fixed” so that once I got into Save-A-Pet, I could find a home very quickly. I am FIV positive and get along great with other cats and with my adorable personality, I would probably even do great with kids. What more can you ask…but to meet me!
