Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Burney is a young (8-10 month) male Great Pyrenees (weight is 84lbs.) who has already had 4 different homes since he was 6 weeks old. For the last two months, Burney has been living as a stray near New Orleans and has been fending for himself. This area was flooded with 16 feet of water during hurricane Katrina, so you can imagine what kind of conditions this dog was found roaming around in. A kind lady took him in to her FEMA trailer, but just couldn’t keep him and that is how Burney ended up in Rescue. Burney is mostly white in color and gets along fine with other dogs. He is currently being fostered on a hobby farm, and so far is doing quite well with a variety of other animals. Burney has good house manners, knows how to sit, is UTD on shots, neutered, microchipped, and in good physical health. A SECURE VISIBLE FENCED YARD, adoption application, home visit, and adoption fee are required to adopt Burney.
