My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Candy is an adorable wire-haired terrier mix. We're not sure of her breed mix, but we call her a "Jumbo Jack" because she looks like a big Jack Russell Terrier. Whatever she is, she's adorable!

Candy was abandoned along a highway in Arkansas. We were on our way to another rescue call when we found her. It's amazing that she wasn't hit by a car! She was full of ticks and definately needed to gain some weight. She's doing much better now but could still gain a few pounds.

Her new family must understand that Candy is a bed hog! She absolutely loves to stretch out on the bed or the couch or whatever is nearby! She also loves to go for rides and would love to be adopted by an active family. If you're looking for a dog to just put out in the backyard, Candy is not for you. She craves companionship and attention.

Candy will only be adopted to a family that wants an indoor dog. She will jump over a 4 foot tall fence especially if you are not with her. With a dog this awesome, why would you want to leave her outside anyway?
