Meet Shadow

Shadow is coming along great! His ears are almost all cleared up and he has been groomed and looks like a million bucks!

Shadow comes from a home where he has lived his whole life. His mom is in her 80s and it was getting harder and harder to care for him and instead of putting him to sleep she agreed to allow us to take him and find him a new home for the remainder of his life.

Shadow was born on April 8th, 2000, he will be 11 this year. He was in a little ruff shape, his coat was not in the best condition, he does have the typical Pomeranian Heart Murmor, he is over weight and had yeast infections in both his ears.

We picked up Shadow today and had him over to our vet within the hour. He has been started on ear meds to clear up the yeast infections, we are having a full panel of blood work done, he was given an exam and also brought current on his vaccines. It is not his fault he has not gotten the "best" care over the years. His mom loved him but just had not been able to provide all of the best for him over these past years.

Shadow is a LOVE! He loves everyone! He loves children, the mailman, everyone who comes in the house. He does not like to be left alone all that much but that is pretty typical of a Pomeranian. He does not mind cats at all and other dogs are no biggie for him either.

Shadow is looking for that loving home that will care for him in the last years of his life. He does not ask much, a loving family and a bit more medical and care then he has gotten over the last years. He does need to get on a better food and well a little bit of diet would not hurt him.
