My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky was an owner surrender whose owner couldn't care for him any longer. He plays well with other dogs and tolerates cats - no burning desire to hurt them! He has been around people of all ages, the youngest being an 18-month old baby, and he was just fine with everyone he met! He was born in November of 2009. He's very friendly and doesn't bark much, in fact really only to alert you that someone is coming to your house! He does have a tendency to chew, but he is still just a young boy - and he listens well and appears very smart! So far, he has had his distemper shot and has been treated for fleas (which is does not appear to have!) He is not yet altered, but has a vet appointment for the coming week. He then will be neutered, have a rabies shot, get a microchip, be tested for heartworms and be ready to go to his forever home! If you can give this boy lots of energy and love, he may be the right guy for you!!
