My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie is a sweet little girl that appears to be a Dachshund/Corgi/Beagle Mix. She was found roaming the busy streets of Houston. When no one stepped up to claim her, a nice lady took her in and contacted rescue. She was under weight , scared and had lots of fleas. Maggie is coming out of her shell and has a wonderful playful personality. She is about 20 pds and is spayed, current on shots, Heartworm negative & microchipped. The Vet says Maggie is just about a year old. She gets along well with other dogs & people. Maggie seems to be fine with kids, but due to her small stature, she needs a home with older children that know how to respect animals and their space. She is working on her crate training & house training. She likes to play with her toys & sleeps quite in her bed all night. Most of all she loves to be loved and would make a great companion. She follows her foster Mom everywhere and would love a home where she can get lots of attention and never be hungry again. You will need to fill out an application and a home visit will be done. Her adoption fee is 150.00 to try & offset her vet bill. All current pets must be spayed/neutered & up to date on vaccinations. She is located in the Bryan/College Station area.
