Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have no idea how such an affectionate, sweet gentleman of a dog ended up in a shelter, but we do know that time is running out and we can't let a dog this extraordinary slip through our fingers. Mr. Mush, aka the Mush-Man or Mushy Bear, is exactly what his name implies--a 45 pound ball of pure LOVE! Mr. Mush is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix and he is absolutely adorable with those big brown eyes and straw-colored coat. Mush knows how to work a crowd; he has this way of putting smiles on everyone's faces when they are around him. He definitely has charm and charisma for days! He loves people and will give kisses forever if you let him. He wants nothing more than to be affectionate and receive love and attention in return. He's wonderful because while he has such a joyful spirit, he is really easy going and relaxed. He is not at all hyper--when you want to work or chill, he'll happily lay at your feet, savoring the downtime right along with you. Mush doesn't take life for granted. His beautiful spirit and contagious personality have captured the hearts of several shelter staff members. In fact, it's because of them that we are working so hard to save him from the shelter. One of the shelter staff members told us that the two best things about Mush are his affectionate, friendly nature and his ability to "chill" and leave be when she is working; he's a perfect combination of the two. She said he was great when she left him alone in her office--no barking or destructive behavior at all. He also seems to be housebroken. Mush is neutered and up to date on his shots as well. He is super friendly to all strangers (he'll actually seek out people to give him some love!) and likes other dogs. She said he is especially responsive to training and is learning his basic commands quickly. Mush walks nicely on the leash and listens to what you tell him to do. We don't say this often, but this boy is a PERFECT 10. He is an all-around good-natured, easy going, happy, friendly dog who needs desperately to have a home of his own where he will be cherished. If you would like more information about Mush, please email Antoinette at aagnyc@yahoo.com and please include your phone number in the email so she can call you. Since he is in the shelter, time is of the essence with this boy. ***This is a COURTESY LISTING***
