Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Myrtle is a fullblood dachshund that was dropped at the local pound for put down because she had mange. The local backyard breeder let the situation get out of hand for Myrtle and her six puppies and knew the expense of treating them would exceed the money she would make on the puppies. Her solution----- dump them at the pound for put down. Sweetpups rescued these little darlings and look at them now! They are healthy and happy and ready for forever homes! Myrtle is very protective and will do best with someone who has experience with the dachshund breed. She loves to play, run, cuddle, entertain - but sometimes does not welcome strangers. She thinks they are threatening her people! Myrtle has never bitten anyone but runs at them and barks as if to scare them away. Myrtle is hearworm negative and on prevention, up to date on shots and spayed. Adoption fee $100
