Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kokoro (Japanese for “heart,” because he has a white heart on his forehead!) was rescued from a commercial breeder in the St. Louis area along with his siblings.
He is a reddish-cream color, with cute tan freckles by his nose and on his white paws. He is spunky but more calm than an average puppy. He is housebroken and crate-trained, and sleeps contentedly through the night. He is highly motivated by human attention and seems very smart and quick to learn commands. Obedience training is highly recommended, as it will help strengthen his bond with you.
Koko is comfortable meeting new people and very cuddly, more so than a typical shiba. He is charming and quiet. He pays no attention to my cats, as if they weren’t even there. He would most like to be in a home with another dog or two, as he looks to them to see what to do and follows their example. This type of socialization will be great for him. He is submissive and would do well with most any dog, even a dominant one.
He hasn’t quite learned how to play with toys yet, but he loves his food and his bed.
As far as puppies go, this guy is a breeze. He won’t be available for long! :)
The adoption fee for Koko is $300.
