My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Zoey. I was found in a local park, all by myself, wearing just a collar but no identification. I'm just a puppy and not so good at being alone so I'm thankful that the folks at the City of Carpinteria have taken me in. I am now living in foster care and learning some basic skills, like how to play with lots of other dogs at the beach and how to go to the bathroom outside! I can fetch and provide hours of entertainment playing with any toys or even a piece of bark. I have lots of energy, in bursts, but then I must lay down and sleep as I'm still growing. I'm probably about five months old now and still make adorable puppy noises when I go to sleep and when I wake up. I love being petted and basically just want your attention, or the attention of another dog as a playmate. I don't mind at all if the playmate is much bigger than me, I'm growing up and getting stronger and smarter every day. I know I will be an excellent dog with your love and the security you can provide me in a permanent home. PS: I am very cute!
