Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm a slightly mature (8 yrs old) Jack Russell Terrior about 12-14 inches tall. I was born at a breeder that was also a chapter of Amazing Grace JRT’s in London, KY, on 01/21/03. I have credentials to show my bloodline although I have been neutered. I have a micro-chip tracking device that can be reprogrammed with your address. Really adoreable if you love intelligent, playful canines! It’s possible I might be a good candidate for obstacle course competitions, if you are interested. I’m not sure of the requirements to compete but I am certainly intelligent enough. Crate and house trained, but each day brings long hours in my crate due to my owner's busy schedule. That’s hard because I love to play… especially with a large ball! I’d chase it forever if you didn’t take it away from me! … Or until I figure out how to bust it! I come with several toys, my own crate, collar (with my name "Rimshot" in rhinestones… fake but still "bling"!), leash and food & water dishes. I love to go for walks or jogs. I’m great with an attentive adult or older children but toddlers and I aren’t a very good match. We make each other nervous! I’ll need a lot of love and patience as I adjust to my new surroundings and family. Once I adjust, you won’t find a more loyal friend! While I love being the center of attention, I can adjust to another dog in the house. My last roommate was a miniature poodle. I’m not sure about a cat in the house because I’ve never tried it! I’m over a year behind on my shots because my owner can no longer afford a vet expense but I’m an inside dog so I haven’t been exposed to anything. I’m extremely strong and healthy!
Can you help find me a family that has plenty of love and time for me like I was accustomed to when I was first adopted?
THANK YOU! – from Rimshot
