Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note: Taylor is a courtesy posting for an Independent Rescuer in our area. If you are interested in her we encourage you to contact Marla directly at 517-548-1780. Or feel free to send her an e-mail at msswartz@chartermi.net
Please also be aware that Taylor will only be adopted out to a home which does not plan on having her de-clawed.
If this is something you feel is important, however, we do have quite a few cats that came into the rescue already de-clawed by their former owners. These guys and gals are of all ages, cuddly and very affectionate. We would overjoyed to put you in contact with them if you are at all interested.
11-month old Taylor is a beauty with gorgeous long grey and white fur that she absolutely LOVES to have brushed. We’re not kidding! Bring a brush and comb anywhere near this gal and she will practically swoon into your lap. She is definitely t a great pet for those who really want to revel in the true hands-on experience.
But please don’t be alarmed because she also won’t always be in your face demanding attention. This is a gal who, while found as a ‘street rat’ and ending up in a shelter cage, is really just ready and determined to put the hard life behind her and fall into place somewhere where she can just be loved and pampered as a lovely lady should be. The only thing she’s looking forward to worrying about is when her next spa appointment might be.
Taylor does fine with other cats and kittens (choosing, mainly to ignore them) and is perfectly content around dogs as well. (Although her street-smart attitude is more then likely to re-surface if they get too much in her face.)
Although not immediately outgoing, once she warms up she is a very, very friendly and affectionate little lady who would no doubt love to curl up on your bed or lap. Pick her up and cuddle her and she will no doubt purr her way right into your heart.
Taylor is fully litter box trained, up to date on shots and feline leuk/ FIV negative. She has also been de-wormed, is on Frontline flea prevention and is set to be spayed on February 15th.
