Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please note: This kitty is a courtesy posting for an Independent Rescuer in our area. If you are interested in this cutie we encourage you to contact Marla directly at 517-548-1780. Or feel free to send her an e-mail at msswartz@chartermi.net
Please also be aware that all of our cats and kittens will only be adopted out to homes which do not plan on having them de-clawed.
If this is something you feel is important, however, we do have quite a few cats that come into the rescue already de-clawed by their former owners. These guys and gals are of all ages, cuddly and very affectionate. We would overjoyed to put you in contact with them if you are at all interested.
Here is Blu. She is a VERY NICE FRIENDLY cat, gets along well with other cats, is not alpha. She is about two years old, nice teeth, great disposition.
Someone dumped this poor scared girl at a farm where the home just burned down in Dec.
She was found alone and freezing in the barn on 2.3.11 and the nice lady checked the snow tracks to find only tire tracks at the mailbox and foot prints from the drivers side to the truck, then kitty prints from the end of the driveway down to the barn. She was unloaded there on a cold day and left. She went back to feed her for a few days even drove her in a one mile radius going door to door asking if she belonged to anyone because she was such a exceptional friendly girl. No one claimed her. She took her home with her, but they are leaving for three months and can not keep another cat, this girl doesn’t like the outside, she was obviously someone’s very well loved indoor kitty.
We’d like to find her a perfect forever home. She doesn’t mind other cats, she seems ok with small dogs, but she is a people kitty for certain. Totally neat even in the litter box.
She is a very soft plush grey and mutted peach/beige tortie. About eight pounds. Her ears are clean, she will let you trim her nails and not mind one bit.
She’s up to date on shots, she was spayed, VERY ready for a family who’ll love her. She’s extremely friendly and didn’t even flinch when getting her shots. She’s affectionate from the git go and very happy to be out of the cold and back in a home full time where she belongs.
