Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Torque is a brindle male, who just turned 5 and is new to rescue. His small dog status is unknown. He is not cat tolerant.
I’m Torque and I’m recently retired from racing. I guess my ‘torque’ fizzled – and that’s why I was released to a rescue group. Hey people, no complaints here! Now I’m free to find my forever home with people that appreciate and love greyhounds. We are an intelligent peace-loving breed that makes good family companions for the right adopter. I have a gentle and loving disposition and can’t wait to go on daily walks with someone special. I’m not tech savvy so I don’t have a cell phone or a computer for you to contact me directly. Just complete an application online and let the AGR folks know that you would like to meet me. I know I want to meet you. Just the thought of living in a home where I’m loved and accepted as that special fur kid fills my greyhound heart with hope.
FOSTER UDPATE:
Torque is a beautiful boy and a joy to have around, says his foster mom. He’s healthy, friendly with everyone and loves affection. Torque scurries away from sudden unfamiliar noises, but his natural curiosity sends him back to investigate. He is a sensitive dog so a gentle ‘eh eh’ is all that is needed for correction. If Torque is suddenly awakened from sleep, he sometimes barks or snaps at the air. Torque can be left alone for a while without getting anxious. He is well behaved in the home and is not crated, but a baby gate is used as necessary to restrict access. Torque barks at cats who cheekily saunter through his yard, or if someone comes to the door, but it’s not excessive. He is house trained without a doggie door, enjoys car rides and is leash trained. Torque accepts grooming, knows his name, and responds to ‘wait’ ‘come’ and ‘okay.’ His favorite pastime is goosing humans!
