For some reason, I don't understand, I ended up trying to fend for myself on the street, but since I would much rather be with people I was taken to the local shelter by a kind citizen. A really nice foster mom found me there and is giving me another chance to be the best lap dog you ever met. I have such a great time going for walks, or rides in the car. If I can't be in your lap I like to sit in my crate and watch what you're doing. Won't you please come over and visit me; maybe we can spend the rest of our lives together?
Michi is housebroken, crate trained, and knows basic obedience commands. Being a toy breed mix he will get a lot of his exercise needs met with indoor play time; however he will still require daily walks. Like most terriers Michi barks to let his owners know when someone comes to the door. Please be prepared to provide regular monthly grooming and daily brushing to maintain Michi's beautiful coat.
Michi is believed to be a Maltese and Shih Tzu mix. He wieghs in at 6.5 lbs. Both breeds are highly energetic, agile, and playful. Michi's goals in life are to play, play, please his owner, and to be loved. To learn more about the Maltese and Shih Tzu visit the following American Kennel Club websites:
Because Michi is a very social dog only applications from homes with a current resident small dog(s) and a fenced-in yard, that will also be able to ensure that he is not left alone for more than six hours a day, will be considered. Being a toy breed mix it is recommended that if Michi lives in a home with children they should be over 7 years old, simply because of his small delicate size. If this describes your home please fill out an Adoption Application today to be considered.
Michi's adoption fee is $250, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, distemper and Rabies vaccination.
