Hello friend, I'm Levi, a knee-high blue-nose UKC American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier. My time ran out at the local shelter, but luckily I got into a foster home and got another chance.
I'm so easy going I tend to do whatever my people are doing, whether relaxing (I'm snug-a-bull and make a great pillow) or revving up for some play time. I love to play fetch, tug-of-war, and ANYTHING to do with water (the sprinkler and I are best buds)!
I'm already crate trained, housebroken and know basic commands. I LOVE other dogs big or small. I also get along well with the house cat, and I just adore children!
Won't you give me a chance at a loving family of my own?
Levi has a sway back and exhibits some weakness in his hind legs. He has full mobility and functions normally, but he has difficulty jumping up. He runs and plays just like any dog, and is very energetic. He has been x-rayed and evaluated by a Veterinarian for this condition. While he does have signs of early arthritis his weak back legs are not due to a medical condition and are attributed to poor breeding. It is not anticipated that Levi will require any additional medical treatment throughout his life, just some understanding of his jumping limitation.
Levi's adoption fee is $150, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, distemper and Rabies vaccination. To apply for Levi please complete the
Adoption Application.
