Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ACA reg westie girl who needs a loving patient home. I believe this girl started her journey as someone's pet or as at home breeder. She loves kids, to play, and has wonderful personality - she talks to you too. She came to us on a breeder bust or shut down. She had only been there "on trade" for about four months. She is an alpha female and would just chase cats around probably driving them nuts lol! The environment there was less than desirable. She came to us filthy and matted. She has been with us 45 days as we put her back in shape (proper weight, testing/fecal, watched her socially and developed a profile of her for adoption) she will jump up on you or put paws on your leg she is short so this would not work with small child in home however she does love kids and to play. This is not her picture however she can look like this. Due to the weather we have opted not to shave her. although she should be to start a fresh unmatted coat. In a forever home she could have this done as she could wear a coat, but here the other dogs she plays with would probably use it unfairly to "hold onto her via the coat" so we haven't done it and just bathed her a bunch of times. So in her old coat she is as good as it gets. It is apparent that she was trained way back when and housebroken. She crates well at night and does her business outside with little incident - she needs firmness to keep this routine and cannot in the beggining be able to roam free unattended. So patience and keeping up training is a must - to re-instill the old values. She was in "kennel" breeder setting last so some of that was undone but we have re-inforced what she knew and she is eager to please!! She is not hyper like some terriers (most westies aren't) and she is a solid smaller dog that with taller legs would really be considered medium dog. She is three and has had pups. She is not spayed yet and her adoption fee is subject to change. When we got her we didn't know if she was bred so we had to wait. 45 days and we are in the clear :) This is an awesome dog that you don't have to wonder what she will grow up to be like she is ready made. A little patience a lot of love and a shave and wait for that beautiful coat to come back she will be a show stopper and a dog you will thank yourself for investing in. She is named Annie because that is exactly what she is, an orphan that is a diamond in the ruff. She would do best as an only dog as she is an aplha female however she gets along well with other dogs but definitely will require a playmate to submit. Her adoption fee is 200.00
