My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Friends!! It's a pleasure to meet you! Thank-you so very much for stopping by my Page!

Please allow me to tell you a little bit about myself so we can get to know each other better! I know we're going to be the best of friends!

My name is Mr. Finnigan and I am a 2 year old Wire Fox Terrier/Rat Terrier/Mutt mixed pup who is looking for a wonderful loving forever home! I came to the wonderful volunteers at Waggs & Wishes Animal Rescue from the streets where I was found shivering cold and very hungry. I was so glad someone stopped to pick me up in their warm car and took me to Aunt Angie's shelter - the people at Waggs and Wishes are so gentle and kind to us dogs and cats! I'm still a little skinny, but I promise you I'm a great eater and am working hard at putting on a few extra pounds!

My foster mom and dad tell me every day how amazingly smart I am! I know how to sit, shake, and I'm really eager to learn new things! In my first day with my new foster family I learned how to use the dog door, and am working hard on learning how to lie down and roll over! My foster mommy gives the best treats! I'm a friendly fella who gets along really well with my foster brothers and sisters - I LOVE to play! I' am so happy my foster home has tons of tennis balls, rope toys, squeaky toys, kongs, and lots of stuffed animals for me to play with!

My foster dad says I have so much joy in my heart you can see it each time I run and leap around the house and backyard - I'm just so very happy to be loved! My foster mommy says I am really eager to please - she thinks I'm smart enough to do something called agility - not sure what that is but if it involves treats COUNT ME IN! I like to give puppy kisses, have my belly scratched, and play in the backyard. My foster parents are teaching me how to walk nicely on a leash (I just get so excited to know where we're going you know?) and I'm starting to get the hang of it!

If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact my Aunt Angie of Waggs & Wishes Animal Rescue at (734) 658-1268 or visit our webpage at www.waggsandwishes.org to download our adoption application and e-mail it to Angie at angie.potter@waggsandwishes.org

Even if I might not be the perfect dog for you - won't you please help me find a loving home by sharing my picture and story on your Facebook page by clicking the like button above, or sending my info to your friends and family?
