My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you have more love to give than you can handle and need someone with whom to share it? Then you need to meet me – Toni! I am a 12 week old (Jan. 31st) Malmute/shep mix. I have had age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and will be spayed soon. My siblings and I have been seen running rampant all over town and finally ended up in doggie jail. I was taken in by a caring lady from the Floyd County Humane Society until I go to my forever home. I am very shy but doing much better and I am walking well on a leash. I am very food motivated so the way to my heart is food. I like other dogs and would love to go to puppy class and learn to start trusting people more. I need a lot of attention and love to help me to trust because I have not had a good first 12 weeks of life. I love being outside and was told that I am great on my house training. I will get into a crate but do not like it – I guess I will learn to like it better with time. I would not do well with small children in the house because they scare me with the noises and running. I should be fine with older children who understand boundaries and are calm.
