Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
location: Norton, KS
Go Green this year! Turn the thermostat down and pop this little energy-saver under the blankets with you. This little hot-body loves nothing more than snuggling under the blankets or inside a shirt. What's more, he is happy to stay there, nice and warm, as long as you want to carry him around. He also dresses well! Howlie (aka: Howie) is only about 7 pounds of Terrier, but he has tons of love to give. Howlie is not a baby - he is 5-6 years old, and he spent his early years being very well loved. Sadly, the economy got his mom and when she became homeless she couldn't take care of her baby anymore, so she gave him up. Howlie is a true cuddle-bug, who loves being held. He will follow you all around the house and stand up to put his paws on your knee when you stand still. At first he didn't understand crates, and although he would sleep quietly in one, he sometimes had accidents there. Howlie has learned to keep his crate clean now, and he will put his paws up on the door to be let outside. He does not really like being crated and will be happier with minimal crate time. Howlie does not like the dog door and though he will let himself back in after many training sessions, he will not take himself out through it. When it is cold he hates to stay out long, so needs to be watched to be sure he does what he is out there for. Sometimes Howlie just has to come back inside then go out again in 5-10 minutes to finish up; he is getting good about performing when told to "hurry go!". He gets along with other dogs, but is quite happy to play by himself or with a person. Howlie is very outgoing and seems to like everyone, but due to his tiny size and dainty build he is not appropriate for children under 5 unless they are very dog savvy. Cats are not a problem - Howlie is smaller than most cats! This little guy is a true gem! Apply quick, as he is trying to steal his fostermom's heart.
