My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jasper Ratbone! He was found wandering in the parking lot of a restaurant and taken to a local shelter, where he was rescued by an alert Ratbone volunteer. He appears to be mixed with another type of terrier, and he's around 16-18 pounds. We're not sure of his age, but suspect he's around 1 to 2 years old. Jasper is a sweet, cuddly, loving, little guy. He follows his foster mom all over the house, and wants to go with her whenever she leaves. Jasper is being fostered in a home with young children, a Great Dane, a Rattie & a parrot. We believe he came from a family environment because he's completely calm around the daily noise and chaos of a big family. Jasper appears to be housebroken because, once he learned where the back door was, he knew to go there when he needs to go out. He also knows some basic commands like, 'sit', 'shake', 'stay', etc. Jasper is very smart, and comes when called. He LOVES to cuddle and will sleep in your bed, or one of your choosing. When he wants love, he gently places his face on your knee and looks up at you with soulful eyes that are irresistible! Jasper came to his foster home very skinny, and his fostermom is working to fatten him up a bit. He has a clean bill of health from the vet, is neutered and up to date on all his shots.
