Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Manny's owners surrendered him to a shelter because they couldn't afford to care for him.
He's a handsome big boy who, at 60 pounds, was much bigger than he should have been. Thanks to his foster family, who've been doing a great job on his diet and exercise program, he's been steadily losing weight and is now down to 47 pounds!
Manny's left ear is cattywompus due to a hematoma. His owners had surgery done to repair it, but it still lies low and is partially hidden by his fur. His one ear appearance makes him look interesting and sometimes comical!
Manny is a gentle giant who loves people and is great with other dogs. His foster family includes Chihuahuas and senior dogs with special needs, and he gets along very well with them.
Manny is definitely a house dog! He doesn't care for being outside in the yard, especially when it's raining! However, he's happy to go for a walk in the rain, no matter how hard it's coming down! He also enjoys playing with balls and assorted toys.
Manny is looking for an experienced dog owner to keep him on his diet and exercise regimen and help him maintain a healthy weight for the rest of his life. He'll reward the right lucky person with abounding love and loyalty.
