My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**COURTESY POSTING*

Wile E is being transported to a foster home at BONES the weekend of Sept. 15th. THANK YOU TO BONES FOR WORKING WITH US TO HELP SAVE THESE PRECIOUS LITTLE BEAGLES! BONES has a foster home which can give Wile E the attention he needs, so in his interests, we are transporting him there to find a wonderful home in New England! If you're in the New England area and are looking to adopt a laboratory beagle, please visit the website of your local beagle rescue - Beagles of New England States (BONES)! http://www.bonesbeagles.org/

The Looney Tunes website this month is honoring Wile E. Coyote and Pepe Le Pew. Why, you may ask? Because they are considered "Eternal Optimists." To quote the site "You can call them naive, you can call them Pollyannas, but don't call them quitters. After all, they've spent their lives in manic pursuit of their deepest desire." What could be the deepest desire for this special Wile E? A forever home that he never even knew existed! He has spent all of his 6 years of life in a crate in a research laboratory, and despite being a bit intimidated by this thing called "the real world," he is taking small steps towards learning how to be a spoiled beagle pet! Wile E just entered the rescue, so we're still learning about him. He is up to date on his vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped!

UPDATE: Wile E is such a gentle soul. He is quite skittish with new people, and sudden movements and loud noises frighten him. He is struggling with crate training, and this is complicated by the fact that he submissively urinates. With one-on-one Wile E time, he melts into your arms to be held, and desperately wants to please. He will need a patient owner willing to help him come out of his shell. We would prefer that Wile E go to a home with no young children. He is not at all aggressive, but we feel he will be very stressed out in a home with a lot of activity going on. A relaxed, quiet home would be Wile E's ideal match.
