My name is Wilma. I am a beautiful blue tri-colored, 3 year old, purebred Rattie -"rising like a phoenix out of the ashes" of a puppy mill, where my only 'purpose' in life was producing puppies for profit and greed. I'll probably always have this inventory tattoo from the mill in my ear, but the wounds to my spirit are steadily starting to heal. Life is so much better now. I'm learning about things like kindness and trust, and discovering how nice it feels to be held and loved. My fosterMom is pleased with how much more relaxed I've become, and I don't know which of us gets more excited when I play with a toy or romp in the yard with the other dogs. I
do know that I'm a "good girl" because it's what I hear all the time. I'm very submissive and get along extremely well with others, including cats! I weigh about 12-15 pounds, and I'm pretty awesome about not doing my "business" in the house. I would probably not do well in a home with small children. Coming from a puppy mill I am very accustomed to a crate, and actually like to go to mine when it's time to sleep. Only one thing terrifies me, and that is a leash; I get really frightened with even gentle tugs, so I'd do best in a home with a fenced yard. But I am sure with continued positive motivation and patience I can learn to enjoy a nice walk on a leash. So this is me - "Good Girl Wilma"! Thanks for stopping by, and check out some
more pics.
